The Life Sciences South Florida (LSSF) STEM Research Symposium was held last Saturday March 16, from 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM at Miami Dade College North Campus. FIU students outdid themselves, capturing the first and second places in the oral presentation category. 72 students representing the institutions that are part of LSSF competed at the event (FIU, FAU, FGCU, Univ Miami, Nova Southeastern, Miami Dade, Palm Beach State College,and Indian River State College) .
