Dr. John Withey was invited to attend the Ecological Society of America's "Scaling UP: Continental Scale Ecology" workshop for early career scientists, in Baltimore, Maryland June 3-7. He is one of 30 scientists working to identify key questions in population and community ecology that can be addressed at continental scales.
This tournament that will feature fishing for dolphin, on Sat., June 1 will be followed by a family fun dock. The Marine Sciences Program is also providing a sea-creature Touch Tank.
This workshop will provide library research instruction and assistance in the biomedical and STEM-related research resources.
